BTS‘ “Butter” holds at No. 1 on the Songs of the Summer survey dated July 3, followed by Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U”; Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” featuring DaBaby; and Justin Bieber’s “Peaches,” featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, in place at Nos. 2, 3 and 4, respectively.

New to the Songs of the Summer top five, Doja Cat‘s “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA, ascends 7-5. Doja Cat pounces to her latest summer hit, after “Say So,” featuring Nicki Minaj, wrapped at No. 7 on the 2020 Songs of the Summer recap. (She also ranks at No. 18 as featured on Saweetie’s “Best Friend.”) SZA charts her first contender on the weekly ranking.

Meanwhile, one track debuts on the Songs of the Summer chart: Glass Animals’ aptly titled “Heat Waves,” at No. 20.

DaBaby’s “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, finished atop the 2020 Songs of the Summer chart, after Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, claimed the title in 2019. Drake’s “In My Feelings” won in 2018, following triumphs for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber, in 2017 and Drake’s “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla, in 2016.
